STEVE PADY

Left of center but still in the spot light, is reserved for the understated though slightly cocky lead guitar and vocalist, Steve Pady.

A true flatlander Pady traded the big sky province of Saskatchewan for a somewhat more rolling Edmonton and set on getting an education. Steve is a board certified school teacher as well attended the music program at U of A and Grant Mac respectively. After completion of both Steve decided to focus on music and consequently spread though the scene like a prairie fire, quickly becoming a variety packed musician.

One of his partnerings was with JSB, (The Jessica Schoenberg band) just in time to play on her second indie release, "The Tiniest of Bones", which met with great reviews. In fact it was those reviews plus Jessica's Defranco, Morisette sounding voice that lead them to Hollywood and a record deal sponsored by Ticketmaster and Billboard Magazine.

After a few years of going at it solid, Steve inevitably decided to set down roots, build his private teaching practice (guitar), and concentrate more heavily on vocals. This has made him a perfect fit with BBJ. He also currently plays in the 3 piece power packed rock band Shark's Fist.

SELECTED PAST LIVE BANDS
Steve has also played with well known local bands like the ska/reggae/pop band King Muskafa; Latin/funk band Maracujah; the hard hitting Mattew's Grin, Life with a Woodpecker; Schucker and Darrell Barr and the Rafters.
